July 8-August 15

Well,  hello again.   It has been quite a while since I updated this website.  As it turned out, the rib injury I suffered on July 2 was actually broken.  I went to the hospital on the following Sunday and got an x-ray and a bone scan.  We got the results back on Monday Night and I was on a plane back to Victoria 7 hours later.

I was very impressed with the efficiency of the private hospital system in Switzerland.  Makes one think.

Over the next three weeks I went to  the chiropractor, Physiotherapist and Masseuse up to three times a day.  I wore a MENS unit for electro-stim treatment and I spent up to 5 hours a day on the bike.
